About us
Provident's professional liability division
Professional liability and E&O insurance for service businesses. US Professional Insure is the professional liability and E&O division of Provident Financial Group. We built it for professionals who want both efficient quotes and an agent who knows their work.
Specialized by profession, backed by Provident
Provident Financial Group is our parent agency. This division focuses on professional liability, errors and omissions, and cyber liability; our fellow specialty sites serve other coverage needs. The links below connect you with the rest of the Provident family.
Commercial insurance got faster over the last decade, but it also got more impersonal. Direct carriers built excellent quoting tools and then routed every question to a call center where nobody had seen your file before. Traditional agencies kept the relationship and lost the speed — three days for a certificate, two weeks for a renewal comparison.
US Professional Insure is our answer to that split. We invested in the quoting technology so a business owner can start a submission at 10 p.m. and have it in front of underwriters the next morning. Then we staffed it the way a good agency always has: licensed agents who specialize in a handful of industries, know which carriers want which risks, and pick up the phone when something goes wrong.
Over 15+ years in this business we have placed professional liability and E&O coverage for accountants, law firms, consultants, notary signing agents, design and engineering firms, allied healthcare practices, insurance agents, and technology companies — from a first E&O policy for a two-person practice to layered professional liability programs with eight-figure limits. The account size changes. The approach does not.
Where we're licensed
US Professional Insure is licensed in 21 states: New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Massachusetts, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Kansas, Kentucky, Texas, California, Arizona, and Nevada. If your services or clients cross state lines, tell us where — licensing rules and contract requirements differ by state, and a professional liability policy has to be built around both before a carrier can quote it accurately.
Independent by design
We are not captive to one carrier. We place your account with the insurer that has the best appetite for your class, and we move it when that stops being true.
A human on the line
You get a named agent with a direct number. No queue, no ticket, no explaining your business again to whoever answers.
Built to be reviewed
Every renewal is a real analysis: class codes, limits, experience modifier, and exposures that changed. Not a copy of last year with a new premium.
Plain English, always
We explain what a policy will and will not pay for before you sign it, not after a claim gets denied.
